Exhibition pavilion of 70 sq. m. was designed and self-built with minimal budget for a cultural event.
Yotwingians were a tribe of Balts that lived in Masurien lakeland of today’s Poland. When the Order of the Holy Cross was invited by Slovian prince, they were christianised by force, and the region was ruled by thePrussian monarchy. More and more traces of their long-gone presence are found with the region looking for it’s former historical identity. Local legends became a topic of a multimedia installation inside.
Pavillion has was made with 120 EUR budget in 1 day with cooperation of ECAM Association from Elk.
This short (3′) film was created in response to a problem of heavy traffic directed to the very banks of Danube in the city of Budapest. Made during „Riverbank Landing” workshop, led by Balázs Kicsiny, in summer 2006. It took 7 days from concept to final effect.
